 Starswitch Plus ES1050 is a 4 port ADSL Ethernet Combo router, targeted at residential and SOHO users. Ideal for Home Networking applications, it supports also ADSL 2, ADSL 2+ and RE-ADSL.
It allows a home or local network to be created, with broadband access, switching and routing functions, as well as gaming and real time applications like videoconferencing, thanks to the built-in NAT Application Level Gateway.
With the 4 Ethernet 10/100 Base T Auto MDI/MDIx switched ports, users can directly plug in their Home or Office PCs using either Cross or Straight UTP Cable to start sharing the broadband ADSL line.
The Starswitch Plus ES1050 supports basic static and dynamic IP routing, DNS, and DHCP (server, relay and client).
The password authentication, the firewall capabilities, the DMZ and VPN pass through support guarantee secure and reliable connections.
The embedded web interface make the configuration and the monitoring easy and quick, with a factory default reset button for restoring the original configuration.

ROUTING FEATURES
Single users can connect in bridging mode and multiple users
in routing mode, creating a LAN or a WAN.
Basic routing capabilities include Rip-v1 and Rip-v2, NAPT
for basic Firewall support, DHCP server and DNS forwarder
for automatic configuration of the local host on the LAN and
VPN pass-through (PPPT, L2TP, IPSec).
SECURITY FEATURES
The Stateful Packet Inspection firewall and the DMZ support
offer protection against malicious hackers.
The built-in NAT Application Level Gateway allows users to
enjoy enhanced services for gaming and videoconferencing
applications.
MANAGEMENT FEATURES
The plug&play features, GUI configuration via web browser,
and remote management via an internal web server make the
product user-friendly and convenient both for residential
users and SOHO customers.
